With this roadmap, we would like to keep you regularly updated on the progress of the development and production of the pilot series of the new rSTOR C compact buffer storage unit. .
Baunach System efficiency in heat distribution and heat storage
Just as a clockwork mechanism is more than just a loose collection of cogs, a heating system is more than just a collection of different components.
Of course, no system can work more efficiently than its components, but conversely, the efficiency of a system can fall far short of that of its components because of poor interaction between them.
At Baunach, we have been working for over 25 years on precisely this interaction between the components of heating systems, with the so-called hydraulics and the associated control system.
During this time, we have developed many processes with which we can by improving the interaction of the components and thus helping them to achieve their peak performance.
System efficiency from Baunach not only guarantees you fast and powerful hot water preparation, but also efficient running times for heat pumps, condensing boilers, wood-fired boilers and solar thermal systems.
To the two-zone principle
Simpler and faster installation in less space
With the new rSTOR C, you are not just purchasing a buffer tank, but a compact control centre for storing and distributing heat throughout your entire heating system. All connections are clearly labelled and prepared for installation, making them quick and easy to fit. This eliminates the need for time-consuming wall mounting of the piping and subsequent insulation. All assemblies are screwed directly to the rSTOR C and create a tidy and clear overall picture, leaving you more space and time for nicer and more important things.
High-quality insulation of all connections
The rSTOR not only has insulation in energy efficiency class B, which limits its heat loss to
the economic minimum.
In addition, all its connections, including the vent and drain, as well as all thermometers, are embedded in a closed shell so that precious heat cannot escape unhindered at any point.
Optimal stratification and stratification maintenance
Good stratification in the buffer tank is essential for all components of the heating system to work together efficiently. Care must be taken to ensure that the different layers with different temperatures remain separate and do not mix with each other. otherwise the heat generators would have to start up again and again to ensure the required supply of hot water.
That is why the rSTOR C has three different zones, which are separated from each other by special baffles inside.
The top zone contains the hot water for domestic hot water preparation; the middle zone contains the warm water that supplies the space heating, and the lower zone collects the cold water that is needed for the efficient operation of all heat generators. zone contains the warm water used to supply the space heating system, and the lower zone collects the cold water required for the efficient operation of all heat generators. The internal riser pipes of the rSTOR C are also made of thermally insulated material to prevent unnecessary temperature short circuits. This ensures that your heating system operates without the unnecessary destruction of different temperature layers and that expensive components such as heat pumps, stoves or solar systems are protected.
This means you can be sure that your heating system will operate without the unnecessary destruction of different temperature layers and that expensive components such as heat pumps, wood-burning stoves or solar systems will function as efficiently and durably as possible. In this way, the rSTOR ensures that your investments in modern and sustainable heating pay off even faster.
To the two-zone principle
Versatile application
The rSTOR is designed for connection to up to four different assemblies, allowing the following combinations to be realised:
One main heat generator, e.g. a heat pump or a condensing boiler
One or two heating circuits, e.g. radiators and underfloor heating, also with a so-called system separation
Hygienic hot water preparation via a so-called fresh water station
An additional heat generator, e.g. a wood-burning stove, a wood boiler or a solar system, or one to two additional heating circuits.
The rSTOR is available in 800 and 1000 litre sizes.
Specially developed for heat pumps, wood-burning stoves and solar thermal systems
The combination of heat pumps with wood-burning stoves and solar systems presents a particular challenge on the one hand, but also a great opportunity on the other. It is a great opportunity because the wood-burning stove and the solar system can help relieve the heat pump of its most difficult task, namely
heating water when the outside temperature is cold. And it is a great challenge because the aforementioned separation of different temperatures must work perfectly. During the development of the xml-ph-rSTOR, heating water when it’s cold outside. And it’s a big challenge because the separation of different temperatures we mentioned earlier has to work perfectly. When we developed the rSTOR , we made sure that the storage tank does exactly that job as well as possible. Stay informed about the earliest possible delivery date
