rSTOR C 800 and 1,000 liters Less work –
More success!

rSTOR C: silver buffer tank with black components bolted on and magenta valve handles

With the rSTOR C, you get more than just a buffer tank—you get a compact control center for storing and distributing heat throughout your entire heating system. All connections are labeled, properly prepared, and quick to install.

Easier and faster installation, less space required, and an exemplary appearance

All connections are clearly labeled, properly prepared, and can be installed just as easily as quickly, eliminating the need for time-consuming wall mounting of the piping and subsequent insulation.

All components are screwed directly onto the rSTOR C, creating a neat and organized overall look—and leaving you with more space and time for more enjoyable and important things.

Details about the rSTOR C

Interlocking gears in a clock mechanism

System Efficiency

More than just a collection of components

Just as a clock mechanism is more than just a loose collection of gears, a heating system is more than just a collection of various components. Baunach has been working on this interplay—the hydraulics and the associated control systems—for over 25 years.

Stratification

Optimal layering for maximum comfort and cost-effectiveness

The rSTOR C has three zones separated from one another by special internal flow deflectors: at the top, hot water for domestic hot water production; in the middle, warm water for space heating; and at the bottom, cold water for the efficient operation of all heat generators. The internal risers are also made of thermally insulated material.

Insulation

High-quality insulation of all connections

Insulation rated at energy efficiency class B. All connections—including those for ventilation and drainage—as well as all thermometers are enclosed within a sealed housing, ensuring that no precious heat can escape at any point.

Versatile

Up to four assemblies

  1. A primary heat generator, such as a heat pump or a condensing boiler
  2. One or two heating circuits, including those with system separation
  3. Hygienic Hot Water Production Using a Fresh Water Station
  4. An additional heat source, such as a wood-burning stove, wood-fired boiler, or solar system—or one or two additional heating circuits

The rSTOR C is available in 800- and 1,000-liter sizes.

Heat Pumps

Specially designed for heat pumps, wood-burning stoves, and solar systems

Wood-burning stoves can relieve the heat pump of its most challenging task: providing hot water when it’s cold outside and dark indoors—precisely when a fire is spreading warmth and coziness. For this to work, the separation of different temperatures must function perfectly—and that’s exactly what the rSTOR C does.
